City Recorder

The City Recorder is responsible for:

• Taking minutes of all meetings for the City Council and ad-hoc committees.
  
• Providing technical support to the City Council and Urban Renewal Agency.
• Preparing and distributing the agendas and public meeting packets for the City Council and Urban Renewal Agency.
• Maintaining all official records of the city.
• Responding to public requests for information.
• Conducting municipal elections for Sisters.
• Providing administrative support to the City Manager, Mayor and City Council.

City Council Agenda
Agenda’s for City Council Regular Meetings and Workshops are available by noon on the Monday prior to the scheduled meeting or workshop.

Regular City Council Meetings
City Council Regular Meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.  City Hall is located at 520 E. Cascade Avenue, Sisters.

City Council Workshops
City Council Workshops are held on the first and third Thursday of each month at 8:00 a.m. at City Hall in conference room B. Workshops are also held on the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall in conference room B.  City Hall is located at 520 E. Cascade Avenue, Sisters.

Public Records Request
Requests for public records are made to the City Recorder, the custodian of City records. Requests should be made in writing and be as specific as possible. Requests for single copies of readily available information may be made by phone and some information may be available on the City’s website.  Record requests requiring more than a minimal amount of staff time to research, locate and/or produce will result in a fee being charged.  Additional fees for copies may also apply.  The City records its meetings in digital format and is able to reproduce a CD MP3 audio recording for a fee.  Please see the Public Records Request Form for additional details on the procedure and costs involved.
