Public Works Advisory Board

The Public Works Advisory Board (PWAB) serves in an advisory role on general Public Works related matters within the City.  General functions of the PWAB are reviewing proposed sewer, water, storm water, street, sidewalk, bikeway and pedestrian projects, assisting with prioritizing street construction, public works projects and/ or recommend capital improvement projects.

  • The PWAB generally meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 4:30 pm.
  • The Board has five members with terms of three years, appointed by the Mayor with consent of the Council.
  • Only two Board members can be nonresidents of the city. Any nonresident members must reside within the Sisters School District boundaries.
  • All positions are volunteer and unpaid.
