The City Parks Advisory Board (CPAB) serves in an advisory role on matters relating to public parks. They provide input and recommendations that allow the City to produce and maintain safe, high-quality parks, trails, open space areas and recreational opportunities and provide input and recommendations on the development and maintenance of parks, trails and open space areas.

  • The CPAB generally meets the 1st Wednesday of every other month at 4:00 pm.
  • The Board has seven members with terms of three years, appointed by the Mayor with consent of the Council.Only two Board members can be nonresidents of the city. Any nonresident members must reside within the Sisters School District boundaries.
  • All positions are volunteer and unpaid.
