Planning Commission

The Planning Commission reviews subdivisions, conditional use permits, and master plans. The Planning Commission also advises the City Council on development code text amendments, zone changes, and comprehensive plan amendments.

• The Planning Commission generally meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 4:00 pm or 5:30 pm
• The Planning Commission has seven members with terms of four years, appointed by the Mayor with consent of the Council.
• Only two planning commission members can be nonresidents of the city. Any nonresident members must reside within the Sisters School District boundaries.
• All positions are volunteer and unpaid.
