The Community Development Department reviews land use applications for a variety of developments in city limits to ensure compliance with the Sisters Development Code. Notices for land use applications that are currently under review are available for public viewing here.

TA 24-01 Text Amendment (Type IV) 69013 Camp Polk Road  Applicant initiated text amendments to the Sisters Development Code for the purpose of expanding and clarifying the types of uses allowed in the Sun Ranch Tourist Commercial District, including allowing Lodging Establishment and Recreational Vehicle (RV) Park as permitted uses. Text Amendments to the Sisters Development Code Section 2.15.2700, Special Provisions for Short-Term Rentals (STR), including: expansion of the STR concentration limit from 250 feet to 500 feet; applying STR concentration limit to dwelling units within a condominium; applying STR concentration limit to dwelling units in the Downtown Commercial District that are part of a residential only development; prohibition of STRs in Urban Growth Boundary expansion/annexation areas.
